pack n play as bassinet?

Question

I'm looking at Pack n Plays that have a changing addition and a sleeper addition. Has anyone used this as a bassinet for night sleeping? Or should I get a separate one?

This is what I'm getting! I know quite a few people that used these for the first 6 (or more) months!

We did and it was great!  We did not use the "bassinet" insert just the newborn one that goes into the pack n play.  It was perfect.

I used the pack and play with the changing station and the sleeper at the top for my kid he was in it til he was one because from newborn to 6 months you can use the sleeper at the top 6 to 9 you can use the part under the small sleeper and from 9 to 12 you can use the bottom for sleep and play did me justice and was worth the 89 dollars we spent

Bassinet are useless. They grow out of them so fast then you have to buy something else or start u song their crib.  We use the pack n play and it's awesome. Lasts much longer and it's very useful, since it's portable
