I want to tell one of my best friends about my pregnancy soon. She was our maid of honor at our wedding and I love her dearly.

So because I love her, I want to announce it as sensitively as I can, since she was feeling a bit overwhelmed at the fact that a lot of her friends were getting married in 2016, and she was still single. She is dating someone, but they aren't very serious as of yet. I don't want her to feel like I'm abandoning her since I'm pregnant, and I still want her to know I want to still hang out! What's the best way to announce that she's gonna be an "aunt"?

A good friend will be happy for you no matter their home situation- I found out I was pregnant 2 months after my best friend had a miscarriage and I was scared to tell her, once I finally did not only was she thrilled for me but she got pregnant 2 months later and our kids grew up together!

For my best friend I went to HomeSense and found an super cute shadow box (the kind with a door you can open) and I decorated the inside with a little paper banner, a poem about our younger days and how she is about to become an aunt, and a spot to put her first photo of her and baby. I got all the decorations for it at Michaels, the scrapbooking stuff is the perfect size. Whole thing probably cost me about 40 bucks.
