Rash from wearing thongs

Okay guys, so I need some opinions. For a few days I have had itching right in my butt crack near the top (flattering I know). I have some bleeding but I do think that's from itching too hard and breaking the skin. I am kind of wondering if it has to do with wearing thongs. I seem to only have this issue when I wear them. Anyone else have a similar experience like this??
