milk comes in after birth?!

I don't understand...
How do you feed your child if your milk doesn't come in until two days after giving birth? 
Im 39+4 and have colostrum right now and can squeeze a few drops out, but how could that ever be enough to feed her? 
What do you do for that delay of time before your milk comes in? 
Formula? Because man, that stinks!

Your baby eats colostrum the first few days until your will comes in. The colostrum is actually very good for them!

No! I was worried too, but the colostrum is so nutrient-dense that the baby is fine. I promise you, your baby will be fine. Remember: women have done this for forever, and much longer than formula has ever been around. My colostrum didn't even come in until after my son was born and he was a chubby baby. 😊 it'll be fine.

Imagine those of us with PCOS who either cannot produce milk or it takes WEEKS to produce milk. You do what you have to do and feed your baby formula.

Just like pps said, their tummies are very small as a newborn,so the colostrum you produce is more than enough.
