starting the pill soon

Ok so i finally went to the doctor and asked for the pill (mostly to help regulate and acne stuff but sexy stuff too) and I'm really nervous about the side affects? My doctor said it might cause a lot of nausea for a bit and moodiness and weight gain and a bunch of other things. What was your experience and any advice?
