Never thought id go through this

So I have always had regular periods and standard length and all that good stuff. But me and hubby have been TTC for 1 year and 6 months with only I have two miscarriages. (One from before we were trying one after) has anyone had regular (maybe slightly heavy and a bit painful) periods and had trouble TTC? What ended up being the problem? I went to the go 6 months in and she said I have regular period so she doesn't think there's anything wrong except I have sever anemia (I've been taking iron tablets for a few months at a time in and off)
