Side effects

I just started a generic version of ortho-tricyclen on Monday. I take it at night before bed and notice a dull headache along my temples, nothing too serious or bad enough for me to be worried about. I'm totally fine during the day, though. I know it's a common side effect but I was just wondering if it will ever go away and if so about how long (from your experience) did it take for side effects to subside? Thanks!:)
