Would you leave your baby in the car to go to the shop?

So today I walked to the shop and on the way bk I saw a baby in a car seat bout 6 months old in the car alone down a side road with the radio on. The mother was no where to be seen I waited round for the police I was waiting for a good 10 mins in which the mother did not return.

Irresponsible mothers/fathers who do this need to have their child(ren) taken away. This is how babies die or get kidnapped. Working at a children's hospital, we've seen far too many cases of infants/toddlers who are so close to death because they were suffocating from the heat. It's so sad the see these little babies hooked up to ventilators, IVs and sometimes we have to use the defibrillators on them because their little hearts give out. The worst is when they're DOA or at the scene.

I think depends on the age of the child.... my daughter is 9 year old and my son is 7 year old . I do leave them in the car to go to the shop but only for short time also I can see when I am in the shop... but I would never leave baby on there own that wrong ...

My kids are 10, 8, and 4 (and one on the way).  I still do not leave them in the car.  I always tell myself, "What if...?"  I just can't take a chance of them being kidnapped.

This is extremely illegal! She could lose her baby over this; its child endangerment. Even if it's cold outside, things can happen. Babies have died from being left in cars unattended.
