Who confused baby's movements for contractions sometimes? Cause they hurt so bad! And my stomach stays tightened for awhile . 35 weeks here! 🙋🏻

I have no clue if I've had contractions or not. I know they say your stomach gets hard but my stomach is always hard I feel like. I do get cramps really low and I always wonder if those are Braxton hicks or contractions but I don't notice any extra tightening really. I just hope I know when it's time.

I think I get BH and baby kicks at the same time. It's hard to tell the difference

Contractions are completely different than baby movements. Contractions feel like period cramps. But some baby movements are very painful. That's my experience anyway.

Same here! Didn't know I was having BH until midwife said I was having one whilst she was checking me over. Stomach feels tight 24/7 anyways so I just hope I know when it's the real thing 😱

I am the opposite. The whole time I thought my daughter was balling up in the center of my stomach was actually Braxton Hicks. I never had BH with my first,so I had no clue.

Update: I was at my doc appt yesterday and they put the NST belt on me. I watched myself have Braxton Hicks on the monitor, but I didn't feel anything at all! I think this whole time I've thought that baby movements were BH. They are so much stronger!

I can usually tell when he's moving because I usually feel something rotate inside or feel pressure in one area.  Pretty sure it's BH when I feel tightening across most of my stomach, and lower down.

I did the same. I didnt know they was contractions until i went to the hospital for what i thought my water broke. But it didnt. And they said im having contractions but the doctor wasnt worried about them cause their braxton hicks and they sent me home to rest and drink fluids

am I the only one ?
