plane flight while pregnant-opinions needed

Hello! I'll be flying at about 25 weeks from the Midwest to Florida. I've got a few options for flights. In your opinion is it better to have more time in the airport between flights or longer flights? Either way I have to do a layover. It just depends how close the layover is to my final destination.

Longer layover. I flew from Seattle to Hawaii when I was 24 weeks and was so uncomfortable

I'll be flying to CA from CT around 28 weeks (midwives gave the ok) and we opted for even flights rather than one long and one short. Drink lots of water, smart water if you can get it at the airport before you board. And get up and walk around a bit. You'll be fine.

Thank you! I think we'll do the two flights that are about the same length.

I'll be flying around 27 weeks, from CT to Vancouver. I'm getting an aisle seat so I can get up as much as I need to without annoying the person next to me. My doctor just said to make sure I stay hydrated and stretch my legs. He said if it was a long flight with no layover, to take a baby aspirin before I get on the plane.

I would say shorter flights, longer layover. Being able to get up and walk around and stretch will be better for you than having to sit for a long period of time. It also allows you to get decent food and whatnot and use a real bathroom instead of one that's already cramped when you're NOT pregnant! How long are the flights? I didn't fly while pregnant, but I had to drive ten hours to my parents' house and back twice, and my OB advised me to be sure to stop at least every 2 hours to walk around and get blood flowing again since blood clots are more of a risk while pregnant. The shorter flights would help with that!

Thank you! The flights themselves are about a 2 hour maximum (depending on where the layover is).
