where are you putting the car seat & why?

Each spot has different advantages😬 is there one spot that's recommended safer?

Middle is best if your vehicle is equipped for it. The fire dept recommended behind passenger seat as a second and said most accidents happen on drivers side

They say the middle is safest, but very few cars are equipped for car seats in the middle. I drive a grand Cherokee and it doesn't have the bars to hook in the seat for the middle, only for the two side seats. 
We'll probably put the seat behind the passenger seat so I can see in (using the car seat mirror) when he is rear facing. It's a pain because you have to walk all the way around to get them in and out, but while in the car I think it makes the most sense

I'm putting it wherever in my car is specifically designed for car seats. I'd like to do middle but the company advises which spot is best for a reason. I think it's behind the drivers side

I would've liked to put mine in the middle but my cars car seat hooks didn't work with it, so it is on the passenger side

You can absolutely install your car seat in the middle even with using the latch system. That's what we did for our first.

Middle is the safest. But second best is behind the passenger seat because they are furthest away from on coming traffic in that spot. Plus when parked on the side of the road you can get them in and out of the car on the side where there is a sidewalk not traffic.

I googled it! Center is 43% safer than putting car seat next to a door.

I put my LOs seat in the middle because less chance of injury, etc. For side impacts
