unexpected visitor

So the other day I noticed that I was getting irritated down there when I was walking. After examining I felt a bump. Like usual I though it was just an ingrown hair and I have been neglecting to shave, so I did thinking it would go away like usually, but it hasn't. Does anyone have an idea to what this might be. I have not been sexually active for some time, so I'm thinking it's a Boyle? Any advice would help! :)
