early labor?

This is my 4th pregnancy so I know what labor feels like, and last night everything kicked up a notch and I really felt like it may be coming on. I had consistent, intense contractions all night long, intense enough they kept waking me up. Since my husband was out of town for work I drank a lot of water and tried to take a warm bath to see if they calmed down. Hey didn't, so finally after a few hours I called my husband just to let him know. He took the first flight home. Of course an hour after he gets home they calm down. I really hope I have this baby in the next couple of days so my husband didn't leave his huge 4 day work conference for no reason. I guess only time will tell.
