Posterior baby??

Monday I'll be 37 weeks! Yay! Baby is head down! Yay! Baby is posterior/sunny side up! Oh no! ☹️ Anyone else? How can I get her to turn around? Does this increase my chance for c-section?!

Nurses are really good at changing your position while you're laboring to help rotate the baby. I did end up delivering a baby OP, but it wasn't horrible and C section was never mentioned

Usually they turn naturally when you get close to or are in labor and no technically she is head down, you should be fine don't stress to much!!!

She will most likely turn. If she doesn't be prepared for back labor but unless there's something else wrong you can deliver just fine without a c section

You can deliver a sunny side up baby vaginally. Two of mine were sunny side up when they were delivered. Just a lot more back labor.

Pushed for 3.5 hours with my baby face up. Had to have him suctioned out and he had the silliest cone head. C section isn't always necessary unless the baby really is studk and can't come out that way.

Hands and knees! Do anything and everything you can to hangout in all fours! Wash your floors- anything! It encourages baby to flip by using gravity. Also google spinning babies- lots of good tips for opening the pelvis and preparing for labor :)
