WHYYYYY

My husband and I have been married almost a year and together in total almost seven years. I'm 25 going on 26 and he is turning 29 next week. To say I'm ready to be pregnant and starting a family is an understatement... we haven't been trying but we haven't been not trying if that makes sense! Well I was due for my period seven days ago and I started feeling excited! I decided to go ahead and take a test this morning and it was negative... I was slightly heartbroken. Okay, I was a lot heartbroken. I don't think it is too soon to tell since it has been since December 28th but what do I know. I must say we haven't been actively trying and I stopped my birth control at the end of last July but holy moly it is hard to not feel so sad with a negative pregnancy test! Hopefully this is the year for us. I know God has a plan for us and I need to be patient.
