Welcome Addilee Elizabeth

My Aunt - who was 10 weeks ahead of me in her pregnancy - delivered her precious little girl on 1/19/17 at 5:42am. She was induced at 39 weeks exactly and she let me be a part of this beautiful experience :) She delivered at the same hospital that I will be at and I was able to see the process and how the nurses worked and the rooms and everything. I know you can do the walk through beforehand but this perspective allowed me to fully understand exactly how this team works. And I am thrilled! She did beautifully - the nurse came in to check her and said "oh my god she's falling out!" and within 8 minutes Addilee was with us! The medical team let her stay with Mommy skin to skin for the golden hour & after that they did all the tests, weight & messurements, and cleaning right there in the room. Let me tell you -aside from being a very happy cousin ;) - I feel very confident that I have chosen the right environment to bring my little girl into the world in a few short weeks.
