So I've read a couple things online about how safe it is to go to a music festival while pregnant. I just wanted to get a couple opinions from some moms or women that have been to concerts while pregnant. I've gone to Bonnaroo (music festival) for the last 3 years and I bought tickets for this years festival before I found out I was pregnant. I can't imagine missing the festival, it's truly a life changing experience. According to my calendar, I'll be 28 weeks during this trip to Manchester TN. I know that some women would be concerned about the smoking/drinking while in the festival but as long as you're not standing directly next to someone smoking I don't really see the issue. I met a pregnant woman last year that said she felt amazing. She said as long as you stay hydrated and rest when you feel the need to, that it's really a great experience. Would love to communicate with someone that has traveled or been to concerts while pregnant. And for anyone that hasn't heard of Bonnaroo or hasn't been, please look it up!! You definitely will not regret it.
