Please forgive the length / brain dump of this post. I don't know where else to turn, I just wanted to talk about it.

My Ex and I were only dating for 3 months but I was convinced he was going to be the man I married. I've never felt more comfortable with anyone, been able to communicate as well with anyone. I was head over heels in love. I thought he was too. To make a long story short, we had a miscommunication that lead to our first fight. During this period I made a mistake and over stepped my bounds (I went over his house when he wasn't home, but his roommate was). I was only there a few minutes to pick up something I'd loaned to him. That night we basically had a shouting match. Fast forward, I haven't seen him for a week and a half. I'd been trying this whole time to see him. All of a sudden he texts me saying he can't do it anymore. I'm devastated. I called him and we talked for 2 hours, essentially with him saying he lost all his trust in me and he can't handle being in the relationship anymore. Until our fight, our relationship was amazing. We had so much in common. Our future plans aligned so well. I couldn't wait to be with him in every way. And now it's over. He said he still wants to me, and that he was still in love with me, but couldn't handle his trust issues after I did what I did. I know he's 100% over reacting but I also know it's over and he's gone and fuck it hurts so damn bad. I know I messed up. I know I'll get over it. But I can't shake the feeling I'll never find someone like him again. Everything was amazing before this. I know a lot of people have discounted our break up because we weren't together for long but it always felt like we'd been dating for ages.
