boyfriends son

So basically my boyfriend has a 17 yr old son that lives with us . He keeps smoking weed in the house. I have explained to my boyfriend I don't want to keep coming home to the house smelling like weed... I have nothing against it but there are certain things you just shouldn't be okay with letting your kids do. Am I wrong ? How should I handle it?
