What is Back Labor Like?!?

Here I am, trying any way I can to get comfortable. My lower back just hurts so much. 
I'm also having a very hard time peeing. It just trickles out instead of a steady stream. 
I'm having a rough night :( 
Just in a lot of pain all over, but it's very bad in my back!

I experienced back labor as baby was sunny side up and putting immense pressure on my back. It was almost like my spine was breaking, the pain was incredible. Before it got unbearable I would just contractions (harden stomach and period pain) then it would shoot half way up my back as a really bad ache.

I was back to back with baby finn (born Wednesday morning) 
My back was in agony the week before and agony during labour 
I was brought in for induction at 7 and before lunch I was already on gas and air as well as having had a diamorphine shot into my leg
Pain was constant when the contractions ended the back pain just continued
I took as much pain relief as was offered to me and it really made a difference made it so much more manageable 
Ended up getting an emergency c-section as hadn't dilated more than 3cm in 12 hours so can't say anything about back to back birth!

I have never experienced back labor, as I am a first time mom. But I can tell you one thing. At 19 weeks I had a UTI and I didn't recognized the symptoms until my back was killing me. I went to ER and it turned out my back pain was due to my right kidney starting to shutdown, the pain I felt was like a burning/suffocating pain on my back that would not go away with anything, not even a hot bath. I thought that the constant urination was due to baby getting big but it was the UTI

Same here! I've pretty much had a heating pad on my back all day and I just can't get comfortable--so much pressure on my bottom! It doesn't necessarily mean we'll have awful back labor; hopefully it just means we're getting close🙏🏼

I had back labor, baby was back to my back and it was MISERABLE. Pretty much in tears with an epidural. The only thing that helped was pressure on my back from my husband rubbing it.
