Do you believe in gender roles?

Question

Not bashing people who believe in one or the other I'm just honestly interested. Where I'm from its 50/50 but I personally like gender roles but I'm just that kind of woman who naturally likes doing the cooking and cleaning and so on but some people think I'm crazy. How do you guys feel ?  I put this in adult relationships cause I don't want this to controversal, just seeking respectful opinions 😊

Yes and no. The real answer is what's right for one may not be right for another. So do what you do and let others do what they do. There is no right and wrong here. If you want traditional gender roles in your house, by all means go for it. If you don't, go for it. Whatever works best for you.

I think it just kind of depends. We go with what works. My husband sucks at cooking and I happen to be really good at it so I do it. I hate cleaning, and my husband is a clean freak. I help out, but more often you'll see him doing it. 
I use to pay majority of the bills because I had a better job, but now he has the better job and I stay home majority of the time.

I hate cooking, it actually makes me angry. So my man and I split the cooking some days he cooks, other days I do

I think some things,  women are just better at doing and vice versa. But at the same time, i also think women shouldnt be afriad to take on roles viewd as "masculine'" and the same for men.

I think every relationship is different and while my husband and I may in some ways fall into more traditional gender roles it wasn't intentional. As long as you are both happy and contributing to the household in your own unique way, do what's best for you as a couple!

I didn't grow up in a traditional household with traditional gender roles so it's something that never made much sense to me. I was also pretty sheltered so I was blown away when I figured out how a lot of people designated silly thing to a specific gender lol.

That's totally fine if you like that. I personally do not. I'm not in favor of gender roles and there will be none in my home.
