test or not

My period just came on today and it seems like it's in reverse... My cycle usually starts  dark red (like a plum) blood small clots to a regular red still some clots but kinda like stringy... by day 3 it's brownish and just spotting and by day 4&5 just there when I wipe. But today everything is in reverse order... should I take a test or wait !? Nothing has changed really in my life except I moved about 3 months ago but my cycle has been the same. Can me turning 29 change things I won't be 29 till the end of the month.. I just concerned should I test or not test
