Why do I keep getting uti's?

I feel like I get uti's way too much! My boyfriend and I had sex a lot last weekend while we were at a hotel for his birthday. And now today I am having really bad back pain in my lower back on the left side along with smelly urine. I don't have any stds because we've been checked when we first starting dating and I get checked when I have my papsmear which I had a few months ago. What can I do to stop this? I always pee after sex but still get them!

I've struggled with this as well and it sucks. 😔 get on Antibiotics asap to zap the bacteria but **this is important ** take a probiotic the same day at a diff time. 
You gotta build up your gut biome cause the antibiotics wipeout all the bacteria and we need the good bacteria so we don't keep getting infections. 
Get your bf on board to be super clean before sex, use wet wipes, stay safe around booty play. 
If you are on birth control this can seriously f up your gut bacteria so stay on probiotics and eat Whole Foods. Good luck. I've had chronic uti and still fighting, working to heal my body after years of abuse and illness

UTI can be caused by many things. I know I use to get them all the time being young not even having sex. I just never had a smell to my pee? Thats a red flag for sure tho. I would definitely see the doctor make sure nothing serious is happening.

Could be a UTI, yeast infection or possibly BV if smelly. I would go to see a doctor or perhaps get a home testing kit from the pharmacy! Constant UTIs could also be PID as the two are very similar!

Drink lots and lots of water to flush bacteria out of your system during a uti.  Also make sure you get enough fluid even when you don't have an infection.  It actually found that taking milk thistle and ibuprofen can get rid of my infections more thoroughly than antibiotics.  Too many antibiotics can lead to the bacteria becoming antibiotic resistant.  Also make sure to keep it dry down there and wear cotton panties to allow for more air flow.
