Just found out im pregnant this morning, wondering how many weeks do you have to be for your first ultrasound & doctor appointment?

I was 7 weeks, but I had s few complications in the beginning.

The earliest they do appointments where I live is 10 weeks and they do a viability ultrasound.

I was around 12weeks when I had my first appointment, my dr had a mobile ultrasound so I got to see my little alien right then! She did one for me at every appointment, around 37wks we found some complications, so I was emergency induced during my 39wk appt, they did a major ultrasound that day, it was the latest my mom had ever seen one done and loved seeing his chipmunk cheeks

At least 8weeks to be able to see anything but unless they have a reason normally you have to wait untill your 12weeks for your first ultrasound

I live on prince Edward Island in Canada. We don't have our first appointment until 12 weeks (and then once a month until 35 weeks then switches to weekly) and first (and only) ultrasound until 20 weeks. It sucks :(  I'm jealous of all you that get multiple ultrasounds!

Depends on your doctor. My doctor is a family practitioner and he told me my u/s would be somewhere around 15 weeks.
