single moms?

I just got to know who out there is going solo? My SO is currently out of state for the next couple years so I'm living with my dad in my old room until I can get my own place. In my old room and still haven't set up for baby due to needing carpet in the room. Any single moms out there l? What's your situation? Just feeling lost in the couples

I am a single mom... my husband put his hands on me causing a tear in my placenta, so I kicked him out and plan on filing for divorce. Since I am a military wife I am completely  alone. However, I have a cousin coming into town to help me for a few days once my baby is born. Other than that I set up her room, have our bags packed and I can't wait to meet my precious  baby. I am nervous and scared but I am excited for our new adventure.  I know I am not the first mom to raise a child on their own since birth, so I find comfort knowing it's possible. I'm a single mama. I have an 8 year old son and expecting baby girl in March. My sons father hasn't called or anything in over a year and baby girl's father changed completely when he found out I was pregnant. I'd prefer for him to stay away though. Is hav the one of support though so it'll all be fine.

Wouldn't necessarily say single mom because I'm not doing it on my own financially or emotionally but he lives in another state right now while pursuing a career. My friends and family are super supportive, so they have been my motivation. Things just seem to fall into place when a baby's on the way! Not to mention, I'm a reader and every parenting book I've read so far mentions that all a baby needs in year 1 outside of food, shelter, and clothing is love and the feeling of being safe. We got this!
