Not pressuring my husband

My husband has been very clear since we decided to conceive about 3 months ago that knowing when I ovulate makes him feel pressure to perform. He wants kids a lot so I know that's not the issue. I tried to initiate the other night, when I was ovulating, and he just wasn't in the mood. I was hurt in general but especially because I didn't want to tell him that I was ovulating so as not to add pressure (or to make him feel like I only initiated bc I was ovulating). I'm wondering if anyone has been through something similar and might have some suggestions as to how I can navigate this well. Any advice would be much appreciated!
