Boyfriend = No sex

How do I get my boyfriend to notice me? I want him to understand I don't feel wanted. He doesn't make me feel sexy and we have sex everyone other day or so sometimes longer than that. I've tried learning new things and buying sexy lingerie but none of it works. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I love sex and I wish we would have more but he turns me down 3/4 of the time. When I tell him how I feel he just says that I'm using sex as a way as a substitute. He thinks that I think that it's the only way to make me feel wanted. But it's not. Like damn make me feel like you want me. He doesn't show any affection. I don't what I'm doing wrong. 😔😔😔
