I always see a lot of people asking for relationship advice and the answer is usually simple; run. run very far away from anyone who disrespects you, talks down to you, puts you down, physically abuses you, mentally abuses you etc. you deserve much better. I was in a realtionship like this for 6 years and I thought that all relationships were like that, until I finally decided to love myself, And once I did I met an amazing man.
My husband is everything I've ever wanted. He is a great partner, we are on the same team and it's so refreshing. Last night he drove an hour and a half one way (with our children) to get a coat that I wanted. I've never had a really nice expensive coat before, usually I spend like 20 or 30 dollars and buy coats from rue 21 or Charlotte ruse. Well a few days ago i went to jcp and fell inlove with a really nice Liz Claiborne coat its was perfect but they only had it in a large and it was too big. So I went home sad I was telling my husband about my day and mentioned the coat. He suggested that we try to buy it online, so we try but it was out of stock. Well last night I come home  after workin a 14 HR shift and he surprised me with the coat! I can't believe how selfless he is. It's honestly the little things. It wasn't much to him but it meant the world to me!
I just thought I share a little bit about my experience and let others know that there are great men out there that know how to be a good partner and build you up instead of tearing you down.
