How did your boyfriend/husband/baby daddy react to the news of being pregnant?

My boyfriend and I just found out that we are 6 weeks 2 days pregnant, so I've been carrying for 4 weeks. I didn't know how to respond to finding out so I didn't know how he would feel about it either. He's taking it well as far as I can tell, but he's N O T  excited. I'm so excited and even more scared. I know nothing about babies. This app is helping more than I could imagine. I don't gotta do this alone, at least someone (glow) knows what they're doing.

My husband was in the room when I took the test. We just held each other (I think he was ready to comfort me if it was negative).

It was positive!! We screamed and giggled a little bit and we both teared up. His brother (who is living with us right now) came in and hugged me and said 'finally'. We tried for almost three years (I know that's not as long as other people have tried but it was long enough for us).

I think at first it didn't seem real. I had no symptoms whatsoever and I didn't feel pregnant.

Now I'm 22w1d and we have our BIG appointment tomorrow. ❤👶🏻 I think he is more excited because we get to find out the gender. 😍

He came next to the hospital bed got down on one knee,  bowed his head down,  when his head came back up he had tears coming down his face. He hugged the doctor and the intern

Well for me being 17 and him only 19 it was shocking.  My SO has been very VERY supportive since the day I took the test.  He was the one who held me up when I cried because I couldn't go to a university or when my family decided it wasn't best if I stayed with them, he took me in with loving arms.  It took him awhile for him to be excited because he always says if I don't see anything (like a bump) then he forgets I'm even pregant.  Now at 19 weeks we know the gender and are excited about it!  Don't worry it just might take some time for them.  If he's supportive now but just not AS EXCITED I'll give it a few months before he starts talking "Baby"  good luck to you and your pregnancy! ❤

My husband and I wanted children, but he didn't act super excited at first. He's been much better recently (11 weeks now). He even was helping me pick out some gender neutral clothing online (there was a sale!)

I think it takes a bit for some people. Your boyfriend might need time to let it sink in.
