Job drama

Okay, so im a 21 year old licensed cosmetologist for 2 years now. All 3 salon jobs high end and low end have been SO terrible. Drama. People bashing each other the owners being non existent or clueless along with rude. The one im currently at has had issues since day one. Even the managers dont know their complete job discription. Hours get cut and clients get booked early and nobody tells the stylists that anything changed. They want us to work for free and tell us oh its homework, we want to see how dedicated you are to the salon. Basically my question is, is every job this way? Is every salon this way?
