If I get light bleeding (start of AF) on the afternoon is it still counted as day 1?

If it starts afternoon day one is the following day. Day one doesn't start until full flow.

If you count it once as period first day count it consistently as that. Like my periods usually start in evening or when I wake up. And the first day very light so even if I start in the evening I count it as first day of period I always have. But whatever you decide make sure you conciesntly count it as whatever. Like if you gonna count it as spotting then do that unless it gets heavier or count it as same thing. I count it as first day of period I always have
