hair loss after stopping BC
Did anyone experience significant hair loss after stopping birth control pill? How long did it take to stop? How long until it grew back normally?
I read online this is a normal side effect but I am getting concerned. I was on BCP for almost 10 years, and my hair is very fine and thin naturally. You can see some of my scalp in my part now and more strands than normal come out in the shower.
The loss has slowed down some but hasn't stopped yet. I have been off BCP since October. I also have PCOS and have started a diet--already lost 5 lbs.
Any advice or stories appreciated. I do have a doctors appt next month.
