How big is your hospital bag?

Question

With all those things to pack, I don't know what to bring? I originally thought of my weekend bag, but that might be too small. Did you bring a carry-on size, 24" or 28" suitcases, a smaller or larger duffle bag?

I don't know what is appropriate.

I am bringing a carry on sized luggage. I've decided to bring the minimum amount of stuff so it's less to have to lug back home. From friends experiences and what I've read from other people most of the stuff you pack doesn't get used. So I am bringing:
pj pants
robe
3 nursing tanks
3 pair granny panties
travel size toiletries (shampoo, conditioner,toothpaste) toothbrush
Hairbrush and dryer 
Makeup
For baby I am bringing her diaper bag, receiving blanket and 4 outfits. All of that fits on one side of the suitcase and my husband will have the other half. I know the hospital provides a lot of items so I'm not worried about not having enough.

I was thinking a small backpack but as soon as I started packing, not everything fit so all of our stuff will be packed into a decent sized duffel bag. Then baby's stuff will be packed into her diaper bag.

I live 45 minutes away from our hospital so my bag is a medium suitcase with wheels so hubby can pull it around instead of carry it. It has my stuff, hubbys stuff, baby girls stuff and our snacks! 
We also have a diaper backpack just in case we need to do any diaper changes or anything in that 45 minute drive. 
I like to be over prepared than wish I would have brought something lol

I just took a duffle, you really don't need much.

I have a small suitcase for my stuff, the maternity pads and breast pads take up so much room. I have a changing bag for baby again nappies take up so much room. And then I have a small back pack with snacks and drinks for me and the husband.  It's probably way too much but never done it before!

Large duffle  (filled to the brim as I'm a chronic over packer) and a diaper bag with his newborn outfit, booties and mits and a receiving blanket. I figure I will fill it up with the free things they provide.

I have a large-ish duffle bag for all my personal items and then to totes that have extra things and baby stuff since my little guy will be in the NICU for at least a week, if not longer. I'm also planning on bringing my own pillow and body pillow just so I'm comfortable and a pillow for my husband
