Anyone been induced due to high blood pressure?

My bp has climbed the last 3 OB apts. I've had. 130/92. Last one she sent me for bloodwork to check for pre-e (all checked OK). No protein in urine as of yet. I have edema in my legs/ feet. Slight headaches and I have seen those sparkly floaters in my vision. OB told me to rest and no strenuous activities like cleaning or even lots of errands. I'll be 38w my upcoming apt. and am concerned as my mother had preeclampsia with me and didn't make it past 35w.
