Ya'll. How do you prepare for gyno?

So I have health insurance for the first time pretty much as an adult.

I need to start doing these well-woman checks, and honestly I am self-conscious as hell about going.

OF COURSE I will (and do) keep myself scrupulously clean, but how...ah, manicured do you think you need to be down there?

Just shave it all? I prefer to be shaved anyway but can't frequently because of bad razor bumps, etc.

So anyway, what do you do to be your most presentable? 🤗

They see vagina all day long they don't care how you keep it. Just do you and they will do their job and send the bill to your insurance and then go into the next room and examine the next vagina.

Just do what you normally do they dont care how much or little hair you have

They don't care about hair. Just do your usual. They've seen the worst cases before so it's not a big deal.

Make sure you've washed down there within the past 24 hours or since the last time you had sex but they don't care about what you do/don't do with your hair down there! It's natural and they'll be able to check your health whether you're shaved clean, have a huge bush, or anything in between.
