White to Wedding?

Question

How mad would you be if a guest wore a white blazer to your wedding? Something like this. (Pic below). The bride will be wearing a white dress. I was told it's rude to wear white. I totally forgot I had a wedding to attend. Preggo brain. It's the only thing decent I have.

Checked with the bride. She said, not to wear white! 1) she should be the only one wearing white 2) the family pictures will look better if only she's wearing white.

Well because it's a jacket and not a dress I don't see it as a big deal. At my wedding, a date of our groomsman wore a white, short, sparkley dress. I was shocked, but I obviously didn't say anything. I thought who the eff would do that #1 and #2 I thought it was very tacky! But as long as it's not a white dress you should be fine!

If your dress is otherwise colorful I don't think it's a problem. Wearing all white is a no no but a white cardigan or jacket over other colors is fine.

That's a tough one. I personally wouldn't have cared bc I just don't see it as a big deal. The bride and/or guests might though. Some are sticklers for tradition.

I think the jacket is fine but the dress needs to be a different color.. run it by the bride to be sure.
My MIL wore a white dress to my wedding with a brown scarf I lost my shit... if she hated me she could of just said it
