I think of Buddy the Elf...and as much as I love that movie, I definitely like the other name more! Although it is your baby and you can name him whatever you want (: so if you love it, and your husband does too that's all that matters

The name Biddy gives me a picture of a dog or a beer drinking redneck..... Jack is a great name.

Please don't let your husband name him Buddy. No offense, but it makes me think of a dog. That is not appropriate for a person. Think of this, when he's 30 years old do you want to be calling him buddy? Make it a nickname and move on.

Buddy isn't exactly a name for a person, more like a dog. Compromise and say he can use buddy for a nickname. :-)

Buddy reminds me of the scary" my buddy" doll in the chuckie movies.. lol..
Plus it sounds like a name I would use for my dog. Jack however is a good name.
