When will i get the hang of things

Im a ftm. My bf goes to college all day and plays college football. My mom goes to work full time because she's a manager. So in home alone with a new born baby I feel like I can't get up and clean some time can't eat can't take showers but as soon as they get her I can finally do I cry because I wish I can just do it on my own but I can't so I just get anxiety built up and just cry.

I'm a ftm n I totally feel where u r coming from. I've been using a baby carrier so I can clean through the day but still have her on me, a baby monitor (in two ziplock bags) and a fisher price newborn rock n play sleeper (such a life saver) for when I want to shower.

You will get the hang of it. My first was SUCH and easy baby and I still didn't have time to eat or go to the bathroom sometimes. There were days where I didn't do anything at all except take care of her. Which seems crazy now because she was so calm and not needy. But, as a ftm, everything is new. New little life to take care of, new life for mama and a brand new routine to get the hang of.  Just give it time and be easy on yourself. You are doing great and the fact that your baby is fed and taken care of means you are doing a wonderful job.  The house work can come later and with time.  Keep up what you're doing and know that you are doing a lot even if it feels like you're not. You are a Mom now. That alone is a 24/7 job. Keep your head up :).

Hugs.  Hang on in there.  It gets easier as you figure out what works for you.

I'm a FTM too.  My guy has reflux so I have to hold him upright for at least 20 minutes otherwise he just spits up all his milk and wants more.  And even them he would grunt and whine.  I use a baby carrier to keep him upright while I get things done,  like pump (he won't latch),  make food. I have a Tula but realized quickly that a wrap style carrier is better for a floppy baby; I use a Boba.  If I need to pee or shower?  The car seat!  He hates the bouncer and would scream as soon as I put him in it.

When your mom or your boyfriend is around,  go out by yourself  to even walk around.  Just to get out of the house will do you some good.

What works for me and or my baby may not work for you but be creative! Explore youe options.  Right now,  concentrate on you and your baby until you get your own system going.  Then worry about the house.  If the house is a little dirty or the laundry isn't done,  it won't hurt anyone.
