One of those nights
It's one of those nights where I feel so lonely and I break down over silly little things. I won't be able to see my fiancé for nearly nine months since we planned our wedding at a time where we can have enough days together. It feels so different than when we were just dating, the distance does. And it sucks, yes. Every little moment can be a reminder that I don't get little date nights with him, little adventures, hanging out together or simple stuff normal couples usually overlook. When he is home or I'm visiting the place he's stationed at, we cherish those moments. We sing our hearts out in the car, go fishing, adventure around the city a bit, or get take out food and lay in our motel room giggling about the past and future. We're not a fancy couple nor all that perfect but we are us. Distance and all. Nights like these are extremely difficult but also means one less night away from him.
