do I have an infection?

I've always been very clean down there but for the past I guess 6 months to a year I've had a rediculous amount of discharge and it smells and it's white when my discharge is usually clear. Is this an infection or....? It's really embarrassing I have to wear panty liners or change my undies 4 times a day and it itches sometimes. Pls help 😓
