Help!

Is it bad that I'm hesitating of being in a relationship with a guy based on his intelligence? I don't like to brag, but I am very smart and got valedictorian in high school and get all A's. He can't really spell or anything like that but he is really cool though. Am I a bad person for thinking this? What's your opinion?
