2 periods a month??

Question

Ok so for the last 6 months I've been having 2 periods a month. Both 6-7 days long and heavy like one. I do have an appointment next month but I just want to know some good things to talk about with my doctor and want to know what could possibly cause it and some advice. Thanks!!!

Quite possibly a hormonal and balance, and can also be caused by stress. Rather than just two per month, she's going to want to know how many days long your cycle is. Count from the start of one cycle to the start of the next cycle and go back as far as you can. If you don't actually keep record of the dates, try to remember for at least the last cycle. She'll probably check your hormones although it might have to happen at a certain point in your cycle. Good luck!
