navel piercing help?

just got this done about a week and a half ago, does it look normal? (the ring around the belly button is from a shot glass with the sea salt water soak)

Mine looked similar to this when I first got it pierced. The sea salt could be irritating you. Try diluting it a little more. Don't touch it unless you absolutely have to. I would invest in a bottle of tea tree oil. I used it religiously and I successfully kept my piercing for 4.5 years (I took it out when I got pregnant). Make sure you dilute the oil if you use it. Use the original orange Dial soap when you shower or when you feel it's crusty. Don't overuse it or the piercing can dry out and get more irritated.

Sea salt soak is probably too harsh for you. Try unscented antibacterial dial soap. I used this for all my piercings and my professional piercer recommended this.

When I had mine done it healed really fast. Use dial gold bar antibacterial soap. I've used that on all my tattoos and piercings. That's what every artist has recommended to me!

I've had mine for 14 years now and I used a dial soap soak for it. I was told to let it soak, then move the jewelry up and down to get the antibacterial soap into the piercing to keep it clean and then rinse with warm water by doing the same thing

Looks like it may be getting infected with all that redness... try not to touch the jewelry that introduces germs and bacteria keep up with the sea salt water soaks maybe do a couple a day

Mine also took a long time to heal. Months. Keep up with the saline and just watch for infection

Yes it looks fine. Make sure it's warm sea salt. Not too hot, not too cold.
Sea salt is healthy for you to use, don't listen the the dial soap crap. I've never even heard of that. 
Soak it until the water turns cold.
It'll be red for a while, it's a new piercing. Keep it clean, soak it twice a day. Within a month it'll look more healed.

Mine was really sore for ages and took about a year to heal up. I used hot water and salt and a savalon spray. That was really good! x
