Anyone try the water test?? For possible evaps?

Have a few test with possible evaps or faint lines and let them dry completely. Then add a few drops of water if its still pink and a line its not an evap. If the line goes away it was an evap. ?? Any one try this ive seen it on youtube and baby center.
