anyone get pregnant while hubby is on trt?

Curious, my husband is on testerone injections and I've heard it's "male birth control" essentially. I'm wondering if anyone has conceived in this situation? We've been having unprotected sex for months now with no results

My fiancé takes testosterone injections twice weekly due to a medical condition, I was able to conceive and currently am almost 6 months pregnant. Testosterone is known to lower sperm count it does not necessarily complete eliminate all sperm; his doctor even told us that we should not treat his injections as birth control. If you find you are having issues conceiving speak with his physician about adding HCG to his regimen, it's suppose to kick start their bodies natural production  And help raise sperm count!

My husband was put on that by his regular Dr went and seen an urologist and he immediately took him off it because there wasn't even enough sperm to do a SA on. My suggestion is if you are ttc and your husband has low testosterone the shot is not good. My husband's urologist put him on clomid which helped all around. I'm now 9 weeks 5 days pregnant! Took 7 months!

At the time he was taking 0.8 mg of testosterone weekly along with 0.5mg of anastrazole .. as well as vitamin B12, vitamin D, and a cortisol manager supplement. We weren't "actively" trying but we weren't preventing it either .. I would say it took 2 months and besides him taking HRT I have PCOS so we felt the odds were completely against us, but I am lucky and blessed to have what I call my little miracle baby! (I was taking prenatal vitamins for quite a while beforehand as well) not sure if that made a difference!

My husband was in Androgel and it left him completely sterile.  Like, not one sperm.  You may want to do some research on whatever he is taking.
