Lying or??

Maybe I'm just crazy, but my fiancé has a friend from work who seems like he's a good guy. He lives in his van and he is 21. My fiancé and I are 19 and we don't have a good past at makin good friends so I chose a long time ago to not have friends and focus on work. He doesn't hangout with this friend too often but when he does he says they are either skating which is fine or rapping which is also fine but it just sounds odd to me. Like are they really just sitting in the car rapping? I don't know, his friend Ian allowed to come over since we live with my aunt and uncle after finding out I'm pregnant. So I'm just a little suspicious but not sure if that sounds right? Keep in mind he used drugs before and he's clean now but I still always keep an eye out.
