Vow renewals!! Would you/will you have one?

I'm contemplating having a vow renewal at some point. The wedding day didn't happen like I wanted. Hubby is not excited about it but he would.

My husband and I got married at a hospital chapel two years ago. I had a wedding gown, decorations, etc. to plan my dream wedding, but my dad was in the hospital and we moved up the wedding because he was very sick and I wanted to make sure he could be there. So, yes.  I'd love to renew my vows and have our daughter be our flower girl. Then I could finally have my dream wedding and wear my gown. 
My husband and I have also been through so so much these past two years, and he's doing well as a recovering alcoholic. I think a vow renewal would be a great tribute to our hard work and dedication to one another!!!

I think vow renewals are pretty awesome. You go through so many changes in life and and renewing them is saying that even with everything, you're still commited to the marriage. My mom really wanted to do a vow renewal with my dad after she got diagnosed with brain cancer.... He never bothered to do it.

My parents just did it for 30 years. I always thought it would be wonderful to do at my 10 year. Now that we are approaching it, I feel silly. 10 years goes by so fast!

I would do it, but I have no plans for it any time soon

I want to because we had to get married quick due to military time frame and were unable to have all family present. So I'd like to have one with all family able to make it

For some reason I feel like renewing your vows is a jinx.... just like getting your SO's name tattooed on your body is a jinx. 
Unfortunately, out of all the vow renewals I have known/seen...not ONE couple is still together.

We didn't have a "wedding" but we'd love to go on a destination ceremony just us and the kids and renew them.
