Love overcame all

For months I have been trying to cope with my son's traumatic birth. I hemorrhaged minutes after his birth, requiring a manual removal of the placenta and medications to stop the bleeding. I have a hard time recalling anything but the terror that I felt. I came across this picture yesterday of me smiling and holding my son after his birth. In the midst of trauma, love overcame all. ❤️
