How do yall get over plane anxiety? I've never flown and I'm doing it by myself to go see my husband who's at tech school.

Get a fun book or magazine to shift your focus. Make sure you get there early & are organized so that you don't create additional anxiety over making your flight.

Know that you are more likely to die in a car wreck then a plane wreck, statistically you're safer in the cheaper seats, and the percentage of plane malfunctions is at an all time low and getting even lower (it just plain almost never happens anymore). Breathe, try doing a guided meditation during takeoff and landing, and nap during the flight.

Short flights I'm ok, long ones and I start freaking out. I used to be so good at it, but my claustrophobia seems to get the better of me. Sometimes I have to take a xanax. I'd definitely suggest bringing a nice book or some form of entertainment. And one of those donut pillows that go around your neck. Those are life savers!

I actually got hypnotized for my plane fear once 😂 I've only been on a plane one other time after that and I wasn't nervous at all but I also think it was all in my head lol.
