Hives.. 😖😞

I recently got an allergic reaction..I'm not sure to what, I did go to the doctor. I guess my question is ,if anyone's ever gotten them...how do you know it's healing..other than them just disappearing? It's been 6days and I'm still slightly itchy but taking benadryl...I still have marks and some red spots as well..when will it go away? Anyone know..I do have a doctor's appointment tomorrow but I'm getting really impatient with my skin and everything..
